Shivalik Public School, Mohali
The school celebrated Republic Day. The festivities began with the ceremonial flag hoisting by Principal of Shivalik Institute of Education and Research Dr Jyoti Soni, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem. This was followed by a march past performed by school students. The festivities continued with a soul-stirring school ‘shabad’ and a warm welcome address, setting the tone for an inspiring celebration. Prabhjot Kaur delivered an insightful Teacher’s Talk on the significance of Republic Day, emphasising unity and the principles that define our Republic. The school’s NCC cadets participated in a district-level march past at Government School, Phase 6, Mohali. The cultural programme at the school was equally vibrant, featuring multilingual poetry, speeches, PowerPoint presentations, and dance performances. A Mock Parliament skit by Class IX stood out as a highlight, creatively showcasing the democratic ideals of the Republic.
