Shivalik Public School, Phase 6, Mohali, wins prize in Rangoli Competition

The school won the prestigious National Award for its outstanding participation in the rangoli competition organised by the Microbiologist Society of India, on the theme of ‘Microbial Diseases’. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of classes VI-XI, who displayed their creativity through intricate rangoli designs depicting various aspects of microbial diseases. Dr Swaranjit Singh, president, MBSI, India, and Shelly Sharma, Coordinator, MBSI, India, were the guests at the culmination ceremony. Dr Swaranjit Singh shared insights on different mocrobial diseases in order to raise awareness about the importance of microbes. He commended the students for their creative interpretation of the theme. With a blend of warmth and wisdom, Principal Dr Anupkiran Kaur motivated students to strive for excellence in all their endeavours and think beyond conventional boundaries and explore new creative ideas. The day culminated with a group photograph, capturing the collective spirit of creativity, learning, and community engagement.
