Shivalik Public School, Mohali, organised an enriching and captivating demonstration programme by Class VIII. The programme commenced with the spiritually uplifting school ‘shabad’ “Deh Shiva” and a stirring patriotic song, followed by a heartfelt tribute to Director DS Bedi. Students exhibited poise and confidence as they presented the ‘Thought and Word of the Day’ in both English and Hindi, alongside a thought-provoking moral story. A rejuvenating yoga session coupled with breathing exercises instilled a sense of serenity and mindfulness. Academic excellence was artistically brought to life — English showcased mass singing and a comprehensive presentation on morals; Hindi featured a melodious group song and a compelling street play on moral values; Punjabi celebrated cultural richness through folk games and poetic expressions; mathematics came alive with an imaginative detective skit on equations; while science was illuminated through hands-on experiments and engaging demonstrations. Students sensitised the audience to cybercrime through an informative act in computers, and displayed creativity through aesthetically pleasing craftwork in art.
