Sikhya -The School of Learning, Jhujhar Nagar

During the morning assembly, school coordinator Balwinder Kaur shared the story of the martyrdom of the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh and Mata Gujri. To pay tribute to these young martyrs, students recited ‘shabad kirtan’ and reflected on the teachings of ‘Gurmat’. The school staff also participated by reciting ‘shabad kirtan’ and distributing ‘karah parsad’ to the students. Amrit, Sukhpreet, Harpreet Kaur, Mehakpreet Kaur, Bipanjot Kaur, and the entire student body paid their respects to the Sahibzada’s ultimate sacrifice. Principal Channi Dhillon inspired the students to embody the values and ideals of the Sahibzadas and to always respect and obey their parents.
