A workshop on disaster management and first-aid/ CPR was organised at the school. Dr Kirandeep Kaur, RMO in-charge, Rural Dispensary, Behlolpur, dealt with humanitarian aspects of emergencies, as a part of the disaster management. Dr Amritpal Singh, intern, AIMS, trained the students about first-aid/CPR. First-aid is a set of principles designed to provide immediate assistance until professional medical help arrives. It’s not just a skill, it’s about being prepared, staying calm, and having the confidence to take action when it matters most. The technique of CPR was demonstrated with volunteer students. The lecture was concluded with vote of thanks by Headmaster Dhillon.
