Singer Makkhan Saxena launched his video "Kanwaria in Sawan" at Brilliance World School, Sector 12, Panchkula, with renowned Urdu poet and literary personality BD Kalia officially unveiling the video. Distinguished guests in attendance included Principal Gurinder Sehgal, art connoisseur and social worker Surender Singla, Deepak Sharma, Garman Saini and Nagmohan Manor. Singla, the project's sponsor, received warm congratulations and appreciation for his support. Special thanks were extended to Shyam Sunder Basal, Chairman of the school, for his continued support and encouragement of cultural initiatives. Guests and dignitaries praised Saxena's artistic effort and wished him well for future endeavours. The event concluded with refreshments and lively discussions.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
