SIS Public School, Phase 7, Mohali celebrated the outstanding performance of its young athletes, who brought immense glory to the institution by winning numerous medals at the Zonal and District Level Athletics Competitions held at Government College, Phase 6, Mohali. The students showcased exceptional skill, determination and sportsmanship, making the school proud with their remarkable victories across multiple events. At the zonal level, notable performances included Jasmeet Singh's gold in shot put and silver in discus, Kawaljeet Singh's double gold in shot put and discus and Gurpinder Singh's gold in javelin throw. Other medallists included Shahid Afridi, Jaispreet Singh, Sahibjot Singh and Rajesh, while Arshdeep Kaur and Japneet Kaur excelled among the girls, winning multiple gold and silver medals. At the district level, the athletes continued their winning streak, with Mannat Karalia securing gold in long jump and triple jump, Shabadpreet Kaur winning silver in javelin throw and Jasmeet Singh and Kawalmeet Singh claiming gold in shot put. Their achievements reflect the school's commitment to fostering athletic talent and promoting a culture of excellence in sports.
