The students of the Foundation Years at the school celebrated Baisakhi bringing the spirit of festivity, culture, and tradition alive on the campus. The celebration began with a warm welcome as the little ones came dressed in vibrant traditional attire. The school premises were decorated with colourful buntings, wheat stalks, and cultural symbols representing the harvest festival. Children participated in a variety of engaging activities, including Punjabi folk dance performances, music, storytelling, and craft sessions where they made Baisakhi-themed artwork. Teachers shared the significance of the festival, helping children understand the importance of gratitude for the harvest and the spirit of community. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Poonamjit Kaur said, “Celebrating festivals like Baisakhi helps to instil a sense of cultural pride and togetherness in our young learners. It’s a wonderful opportunity for them to learn through fun and joyful experiences.”
