The school hosted a captivating class show, featuring Bharatendu Harishchandra’s timeless play “Andher Nagri Chaupat Raja”. The event began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by an inspiring address by Principal Poonamjit Kaur, who emphasised the importance of creative expression and critical thinking among students. She applauded the Class IX students for their efforts and highlighted the integration of subjects, as the play resonates with the English chapter “In the Kingdom of Fools”. This thoughtful connection allowed students to explore literature in a practical and engaging manner. Director Avinash Kaur praised the students and teachers for bringing literature to life with such dedication, while Vice-Principal Raina Chona delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks. The event concluded with refreshments for parents, leaving a lasting impression of creativity, learning, and celebration. The play, presented by talented students of Class IX, delivered a powerful and humorous message on blind governance, leaving the audience both entertained and reflective. The show was further enriched with vibrant dance and song performances, earning widespread applause.
