The school celebrated its annual function, ‘Aawahan’, centered on the theme of Sustainable Development Goals. Students delivered powerful performances on topics like gender equality, quality education, no poverty, and many more. Through dance performances, street play, singing, dance drama, and yoga, students conveyed meaningful messages that resonated deeply with the audience. The chief guest was Rajiv Prashad, Joint Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Haryana, who commended the school’s efforts in promoting sustainable development awareness. For ‘Aawahan Junior’, the chief guest was Yashkirat Kaur, a Commonwealth Games medallist, who inspired the young learners with her journey of dedication and perseverance. Special guest Rajiv Kumar, an NIS-qualified fencing coach, and celebrated comedian Rajiv Goldy further added charm to the occasion. The event showcased vibrant performances by kindergarten students, who amazed the audience with their energy and creativity. From colourful dances and story yoga to a delightful skit on the responsible use of technology, the youngest learners proved that even the smallest voices could deliver big messages. Adding to the celebrations, meritorious students were honoured with trophies and accolades across various categories, including excellence in academics, co-curricular activities, dramatics, singing, dancing, and the coveted all-rounder awards. The function culminated with heartfelt appreciation for the efforts of the students, staff, and the entire Solitaire family, leaving everyone inspired and hopeful for a brighter future.
