In an effort to educate students about the dangers of the digital world, the school organised separate awareness sessions for girls and boys of classes V to IX. The sessions aimed to address critical issues such as digital safety, online sexual offenses, cyber predators, and responsible Internet usage. The students were made aware that sexual offenses are not limited to physical acts; they also occur in online spaces, often with severe consequences. Students were sensitised through real life examples about online sexual offenses that involve any form of sexual exploitation, harassment or abuse conducted through digital platforms, including social media, messaging apps, gaming platforms and websites. Students learnt modus operandi of online predators that operate. Knowledge about the steps that the students should take to protect themselves from cyber threats was also imparted. The sessions were conducted in a safe and open environment, allowing students to ask questions and share concerns without hesitation.
