Nursery of the school was transformed into a vibrant marketplace as young learners were engaged in a vegetable and fruit vendor activity. The students were introduced to a variety of vegetables and fruits with the help of pretend play of a market scene, reciting rhymes related to fruits and vegetables and learning the value of eating fresh food. Students enjoyed purchasing items from the vendor stall, which fostered social skills including communication. Students exhibited enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. Facilitators grabbed the opportunity to emphasise the importance of eating fruits and vegetables to stay healthy.
