Ganpati celebrations were held in kindergarten of the school. Children participated in various activities, including mosaic art, special assembly, storytelling, and learning about Lord Ganesha’s favourite food, ride, and family members. The children of UKG created a beautiful mosaic art piece using coloured sheets and other materials. They made a stunning image of Lord Ganesha, showcasing their fine motor skills. A special assembly was conducted, where the children sang devotional songs, recited poem, and performed a skit on the story of Lord Ganesha. They also offered prayers and flowers to the deity. The children were told the story of Lord Ganesha’s birth, his role as the remover of obstacles, and his love for ‘modaks’ (sweet dumplings).
