Students from Sparkling Kids: The Foundation School, Patran, celebrated the monsoon festival Teej with enthusiasm. Students were seen in traditional colourful attire and enjoyed dancing with their friends. They also danced to the tunes of traditional Teej songs, performed kikli and giddha. Teej celebration was graced by school’s Chairperson Gurmeet Kaur and Principal Harmandeep Kaur Harika. Komalpreet Kaur was crowned Miss Teej, Bhavneet Kaur was the first runners-up for her enchanting dance performance.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind.
