A one-day value education training programme was organised at the school under the guidance of the CBSE, Panchkula. The session was led by CBSE resource person Sarika Malik (Principal, Solitaire International School, Panchkula) and Sonali (Principal, Navjyoti Century School). As per the New Education Policy, the CBSE mandates 50 hours of regular teacher training, which is conducted at the school. In this programme, based on the new curriculum framework, around 60 teachers from various schools in Solan, Pinjore, and Panchkula participated with enthusiasm. The main objective of the programme was to promote student-centric and value-based education in line with the progressive vision of the National Education Policy. It emphasised the development of moral and ethical values such as respect for others, honesty, empathy, and integrity. Through interpersonal, individual, and community activities, teachers were given insights into how education can be made more value-oriented for students.
