Sri Dasmesh Public Senior Secondary School, Patiala, organised various tours for the students from classes VI to X, under the guidance of school president, Kulbir Singh Shergill, and the secretary, Jaswinder Kaur. The students of Class VI paid obeisance at Fatehgarh Sahib, Class VII visited Chamkaur Sahib and toured the Dastan-e-Shahadat, Class VIII went to Sri Anandpur Sahib and visited Virasat-e-Khalsa, classes IX and X visited Jung-e-Azadi at Kartarpur, Sada Pind and Attari border in Amritsar. The students of classes IX and X also visited Jaipur, Ajmer and Pushkar. They visited Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Amber Place, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Birla Mandir at Jaipur. Jama Masjid at Ajmer; and Bharma Mandir, Gurudawara Singh Sabha and lake at Pushkar. These tours helped the students to enhance classroom learning, promote social, emotional development and explore real-life situations.
