Sri Dasmesh Public Senior Secondary School, Patiala

The 32nd Annual Sports Meet was organised in the school where students from all classes participated. The eventful day began with flag hoisting, followed by march past and Oath-taking ceremony. Students displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports events ranging from simple races, fun races, balance race, skipping race, octopus race, followed by tug-of-war and kabaddi. Students of classes V and VII displayed number formation, pyramid formation and moves of Tai Commando and showcased bhangra. Harnoor Kaur and Kanwalnoor Singh of Class X were adjudged best athlete and Bir Kunwar Singh of Class VII was adjudged best sportsperson for winning seven gold medals in gymnastic in state-level games. In the end, Principal Preet Mohinder Kaur Syal thanked all guests and appreciated the staff and students. Refreshment was given to all students.
