Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School, Sector 26, Chandigarh

The school hosted its Annual Sports Meet, “SGGS Fit Fest 2024”. The festivities began with the arrival of the chief guest on each day of the event. Nirmal Kaur, officiating DEO, Chandigarh, graced the event on the first day, while, Pramod Sharma, Chairman of Yuvsatta, was the chief guest on the second day. The guest of honour for the second day was Gurdev Singh Brar, president of the Sikh Educational Society. The school playground buzzed with excitement as students participated in a variety of vibrant and dynamic sports events. The programme opened with an impressive march past, followed by a series of track and field events, group performances such as drills, patriotic dances, yoga demonstrations, and the traditional Sammi dance, and an adorable performance by the tiny tots, which captivated the audience. Medals and certificates were presented to the winners by the chief guests and guest of honour, who also delivered inspiring speeches. They commended the efforts of Principal Amanpreet Kaur, and the staff for the institution’s remarkable achievements and commitment to holistic education.
