Sri Guru Harkrishan School promotes Green Diwali

Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr Sec Public School, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh, clubs, including Interact Club, Early Act Club, Eco Club, NSS Unit, Legal Literacy Club and Art Department, collaborated to promote a pollution-free Green Diwali. Under Principal Shama Kukkal's guidance, students participated in activities like an anti-cracker rally, a special assembly and competitions in poster-making and rangoli. The initiative also included a visit to a senior citizen home, where students spent time with elderly residents, sharing joy through songs, poems, and donations. The celebration embodied the message of "Green Diwali, Clean Diwali," inspiring students to be responsible citizens and care for the planet.
