The NSS wing and SSt Department of the school celebrated Constitution Day on its premises to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1949, honour Dr BR Ambedkar and promote awareness of constitutional values, rights, and duties. A special assembly was held that commenced with a collective reading of the Preamble to the Indian Constitution, reaffirming commitment to its principles followed by oath, nukkad natak, speech, poem and an awareness session on fundamental rights and duties. The ceremony concluded with a call for all citizens to reflect on their duties and responsibilities in upholding the Constitution’s values and ensuring a brighter future for all. Principal Shama Kukkal highlighted the significance of the Constitution, while inspiring the students to strengthen the democratic framework that our Constitution has provided, and work towards a society that is truly just, equitable, and inclusive for all.
