Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh, hosts teachers’ training workshop

The school hosted a dynamic teachers’ training workshop for early educators under the Chandigarh hub. The workshop brought together early childhood educators from various schools for a day filled with collaboration, creativity, and capacity building. The event began with a serene recitation of the school ‘shabad’, followed by interactive sessions on mindfulness, foundational teaching practices, and subject-specific strategies. The highlights included storytelling, phonics-based literacy activities, traditional games, and the creation of innovative, low-cost teaching aids. Principal Shama Kukkal appreciated the enthusiastic participation of all educators and lauded their dedication to transforming early learning spaces. She emphasised the importance of such training programmes in nurturing compassionate, creative, and future-ready classrooms.
