St Anne's Convent School, Chandigarh, marked Gandhi Jayanti with reverence, celebrating the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi through a thoughtful and value-based assembly. The programme reflected deeply on Gandhian values of non-violence, truth, simplicity and peace. Students performed 'Shramdaan' within the campus, contributing to the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' in alignment with Gandhiji's emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene. A film on the life of Mahatma Gandhi was screened for senior students in the school auditorium. The principal, Sr Siji addressed the gathering and urged students to adopt Gandhiji's teachings in their daily lives.
