The school celebrated Gandhi Jayanti. The event aimed to honour Gandhi’s principles of non-violence, peace, and integrity, which continue to inspire generations. The celebration commenced with a special assembly attended by students, teachers, and staff. Col Deepak De was the chief guest. The programme began with a melodious rendition of “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram”, followed by patriotic dance echoing Gandhi’s principles. Col Deepak De addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of Gandhi’s teachings in today’s world. Principal Sr Siji Isaac presented a memento and a green token of gratitude to Col Deepak De and thanked him for his benign presence. The assembly concluded with a pledge taken by all students and staff to uphold the values of peace, nonviolence, and truth as advocated by Mahatma Gandhi. Students participated in a cleanliness drive and shramdaan on the school premises.
