The Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) has launched the School Innovation Council (SIC) program to promote innovation, ideation, entrepreneurship, creativity and design thinking in schools nationwide. The school was one of 27 selected schools to participate in the National Innovation Showcase and Assembly, a four-day event that provided a lifetime experience for the students and their mentor, Sneh Lata. During the event, each team showcased their innovation stalls, featuring impact stories, research insights, and prototypes. Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education, highlighted the transformative power of the National Education Policy (NEP) and its focus on experiential learning, innovation and youth empowerment. The students also interacted with educational leaders, policymakers and industrial experts and were inspired by renowned young activists, including Anoushka Jolly and Ranbir Sachdev. Additionally, participants attended a seminar on innovation development at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and visited the Prime Ministers' Museum, gaining valuable insights and perspectives. The event was a testament to the school's commitment to innovation and experiential learning, with Principal Sr Siji Issac supporting such initiatives wholeheartedly.
