The school commemorated International Yoga Day with immense fervour and mindfulness. The event unfolded with a structured session of asanas, pranayama, and meditative practices, led by experienced yoga facilitators. Participants were guided through techniques designed not only to enhance physical flexibility and stamina but also to foster emotional equilibrium and mental clarity. The session was interspersed with discussions highlighting the ancient origins, philosophical underpinnings, and contemporary relevance of yoga in combating the stresses of modern life. In her closing address, Principal Monica Chawla remarked, “Yoga, at its core, is not merely a practice but a way of life — one that cultivates self-awareness, balance, and enduring strength. At St Joseph’s, we deeply believe that nurturing the well-being of our students and educators is essential to shaping responsible, grounded, and empowered individuals.”
