St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, concluded the second edition of its visionary summer initiative — St Joseph Student Internship Programme 2.0 (SJSIP 2.0). It was the brainchild of Principal Monica Chawla, designed to enrol school students for internship within the school campus. This four-day immersive journey transformed classrooms into boardrooms and corridors into canvases, nurturing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and change-makers. The programme opened with an inspiring session by Abhishek Gupta, a celebrated brand strategist, who introduced the young interns to the art of branding and personal identity. Energised by his words, students formed teams with inventive names like ‘The Idea Ignitors’ and ‘The Revamp Rangers’ and enthusiastically undertook the task of redesigning functional school spaces with creativity and purpose. As the momentum grew, students dived into experiential learning, sketching layouts, selecting themes, and using paint and expression to bring their visions to life. A powerful address by Col BP Singh (retd), who shared the discipline, dignity, and vast opportunities in the Indian armed forces, left an indelible impression on every heart. The spirit of enterprise was further fuelled by entrepreneur Vivek Mehra, who kindled the entrepreneurial mind set among students, pushed them to think boldly and act purposefully. The final day showcased vibrant team presentations, interactive policy reviews, and a stimulating session by Aayush Aggarwal. The event culminated in a grand felicitation ceremony celebrating excellence in creativity, teamwork, and leadership. The astounding success of SJSIP 2.0 is a glowing tribute to the dynamic management’s progressive vision, Principal Monica Chawla’s student-centric initiatives that redefine holistic education, and Vice-Principal Meena Sharma’s steadfast support that ensured seamless execution of this impactful programme.
