St Joseph's Sr Sec School, Chandigarh, had the honour of hosting the Grand Finale of the shloka recitation competition, a landmark event under Sashakt Baal Mahotsav 3.0. The event commenced with the presence of Prof Devi Sirohi, Former Chairperson, CCPCR, and Shipra Bansal, Chairperson, CCPCR. Nearly 60 finalists transformed the school hall into a sanctified space as they recited sacred Sanskrit shlokas with poise, precision and devotion, reflecting a profound connection with India's timeless spiritual treasury. The finale was evaluated by an erudite panel comprising Acharya Shashi Vashishth, Acharya Sumit Sankhyan and Acharya Vineet Kanav, each lending scholarly integrity and discerning expertise to the event. The young participants captivated the audience with their clarity, composure and spiritual poise, reaffirming that heritage is not merely inherited but carried forward by enlightened young voices. The results of the competition were announced to enthusiastic applause, acknowledging the merit and dedication displayed by the finalists. Principal Monica Chawla conveyed profound pride, remarking, "For us at St Joseph's, education must illuminate both the intellect and the inner self. Today's Finale was more than a competition - it was a celebration of identity, heritage, and the spiritual grace our children carry within them."
