The school celebrated the fourth anniversary of the National Education Policy 2020 with a special event titled ‘Skilling and Digital Initiatives Day’. The occasion was graced by Rajiv, Under Secretary, Centre of Excellence (COE), Chandigarh. Ravjot Singh, an academician, mentor, and strategist shared his insights into the role of AI in strengthening NEP-2020. Chetan Bansal, Principal of Shemrock World School, Zirakpur, led a session on the use of AI in lesson planning and assessment. The event also welcomed esteemed principals from various schools, including, Asha Rani (GMSSS-37D), and Suman Jaiswal (GHS-53). One of the highlights of the event was the interactive quiz session. Principal Monica Chawla conducted a session on the “Changing Nature of Job Profiles & New Skills Needed”. Her insightful analysis highlighted the critical need for educators to equip students with not only technical skills but also critical thinking, creativity, and emotional intelligence. Jagmeet Kaur, an innovative English PGT, and Rupali, the skilled school counsellor, conducted a session on integrating AI into daily teaching practices. The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony, where mementos were presented to the distinguished guests and speakers.
