St Luke’s School, Solan
In an effort to foster environmental awareness and sustainable practices, the Sankalp Eco Club of the school organised a workshop on the ‘Encouragement for the use of millets in food and herbs/medicinal plants for nutrition and wellbeing, energy and water conservation, e-waste management’ for students of classes I to X. The workshop was was also attended by Vocational Training Centre members and school teachers and support staff. The workshop aimed to educate and empower the younger generation regarding electronic waste disposal, use of millets, ingenious medicinal herbs/plants and contribute to a cleaner, greener future. The workshop featured insightful sessions led by experts in the field, providing students with valuable insights into the escalating issue of electronic waste and its impact on the environment. Ashish Palyal and Shrey Gupta, co-founder, Eco-Vigyan Foundation, were the keynote speakers. They shared their expertise.
