St Mary's School, Mohali, proudly announced the outstanding achievements of its young sports stars, Aaradhya (Class V-A) and Paramjot Singh (Class IX-A), who have brought accolades to the institution with their remarkable performances in martial arts and cricket. Paramjot Singh excelled in the U-16 Sportswala Khelo Cup 2025, winning a Gold Medal and the prestigious Best Bowler Trophy, impressing coaches and spectators with his consistent performance and sportsmanship. Aaradhya shone at the 8th Emerald Taekwondo Championship Ceremony 2024-25, securing a silver medal in her category with her remarkable skill and determination, inspiring fellow students with her discipline and focus. Principal Bijumon Thomas congratulated both students on their dedication and excellence, noting that their hard work reflects the school's commitment to all-round development.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
