The school celebrated Hindi Week, showcasing the richness of our national language. The celebration began with a special assembly where students recited poems, delivered inspiring speeches, and performed a lively dance. A thought-provoking nukkad natak presented by senior students highlighted the importance of preserving Hindi. Throughout the week, various classroom activities, such as quiz competitions, slogan writing, story writing, and handwriting contests were conducted, keeping students creatively engaged. The principal praised the efforts of teachers and students, reminding everyone that Hindi is not just a language but a reflection of India’s culture and identity. The week concluded on a joyful note, instilling pride and love for Hindi among all.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
