St Peter's Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, conducted two awareness-based activities, engaging students in meaningful learning through creative expression. As part of POCSO awareness week, students of classes V, VI, IX and X participated in a poster-making competition on the theme "Child Awareness & Online Safety." The event began with an orientation on the POCSO Act, its significance and child protection strategies. Students created powerful posters addressing topics such as consent, digital privacy and abuse prevention. Selected posters were displayed on school bulletin boards and shortlisted entries will be submitted to the CCPCR Best Practices Archive. To support the national initiative Project Dolphin, students of classes VII and VIII took part in a poster-making activity centred on dolphin conservation. The competition aimed to raise awareness about the importance of protecting riverine and marine dolphins. Participants showcased their creativity and understanding of environmental conservation through vibrant and thoughtful artwork. Both activities saw enthusiastic participation and helped students become more aware of social and environmental issues through interactive and engaging formats.
