The 2024 CBSE Cluster Games were held in Pathankot. Students of the school secured 18 medals in various sports. Suprit Kaur won gold medal in 1,500 m race and silver medal in 3,000 m race. In the U-17 category 4*100 m relay event Yuvraj Singh, Nav Preet Singh, Joban Preet Singh, Armaan Preet Singh and Pritpal Singh clinched silver medal. Manpreet Kaur got first position in shot put whereas Harjoban Singh secured second position in 5,000 m. Anmol Singh, Noordeep Singh, Harjoban Singh, Harshdeep Singh and Abhayjeet Singh won bronze medal in 4*100 m relay race in the U-19 category. Harleen Kaur got first position in discus throw. In triple jump, Anmolpreet Singh secured the second position. Director Principal Amandeep Kaur expressed delight at the students’ success.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
