St Soldier International Convent School, Mohali, celebrated Children's Day. The highlight was a lively and entertaining programme presented by teachers, who dressed up as students and put on a fun-filled show. Their spirited performance was thoroughly enjoyed by all students. Principal Anjli Sharma addressed the gathering and had the children roaring with laughter as she narrated humorous school-life anecdotes. On a thoughtful note, she encouraged the students to dream big, work hard and believe in their potential. To add to the festivities, refreshments were served to all students. The celebration concluded on a joyful note, making it a memorable day filled with fun, frolic and cherished moments for every child.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
