The Centre of Excellence (COE), Panchkula, organised a two-day capacity building programme on ‘Ethics and Integrity’ for teachers at the school. The workshop aimed to enhance the professional ethics of educators and empower them with the knowledge and skills to impart these values to their students. The workshop was conducted by resource persons Kamoshi Kakkar and Isha Anand, both experts in the field of education and ethics. Throughout the two days, the workshop addressed critical topics, including the significance of ethics in education, promoting integrity in the learning environment, and fostering positive behaviour among students. Isha and Kamoshi engaged the teachers in interactive discussions, role-plays, and case studies, encouraging them to reflect on their own professional conduct and adopt practices that promote fairness, responsibility, and ethical decision-making in the classroom. The session was well-received by the teachers, who actively participated in all activities, reflecting on how ethical practices shape not only individual growth but also the overall development of society. The workshop concluded with participants pledging to uphold integrity and ethical conduct in their teaching practices, ensuring a holistic and values-based learning experience for their students.
