Mishti, a Class VI student of the school, won a gold medal in the second Inter-District National Roller Skating Championship 2025 in Mohali. It was organised by the Roller Skating Federation of India. Representing Team Panchkula, Mishti showcased exceptional skills of concentration and will power in inline hockey skating, outperforming eight competing teams. The team played a total of four matches, winning three, which led to a significant lead and ultimately, the championship title. Mishti expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the school for providing excellent training and support. She practiced daily for hours in the school skating rink under the supervision and guidance of expert skating coach. She gave credit to various sports activities and meditation sessions in the school for her improved discipline, consistency, ultimately leading to the momentous victory. Principal Dr Piyush Punj congratulated Mishti on her outstanding success, stating, “Mishti’s achievement is a testament to her hard work, consistency and dedication to skating. Her efforts are truly commendable.”
