The school hosted an Inter-School Calligraphy Competition, designed to encourage the art of calligraphy among students and offer them a platform to exhibit their skills. The competition featured three categories: Punjabi Calligraphy, Hindi Calligraphy and English Calligraphy. Participants from various schools like YPS, St Anne’s, etc, showcased their talents, with prizes awarded to the top three students in each category. The event received positive feedback from both participants and teachers, who appreciated St Xavier’s initiative to promote calligraphy. Principal Georgina Roy expressed her delight, stating, “We are thrilled to see the enthusiasm amongst the students. We will continue to support and encourage this art form.” The competition concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners were honoured and all participants were motivated to keep pursuing their passion for calligraphy.
