The Emily Gosain Memorial Basketball Tournament was organised by the school. Nine schools from the Tricity participated. The tournament was organised on the knock-out basis. On the second day, the first semi-final was won by St Xavier’s High School, Panchkula, by 41-40 against Holy Child School, Morni. The second semi-final was won by Strawberry Field High School, Chandigarh, by 94-87 against St Joseph School, Chandigarh. In the high-octane final match, Strawberry Field High School, Chandigarh defeated the host team and won the coveted trophy. The most promising player award was given to Uday Pratap Singh Kang from Strawberry Field High School, Chandigarh. Principal George S Shear congratulated the winners and applauded the sportsmanship exhibited by all players.
