The school witnessed a vibrant display of wit, logic, and eloquence during its Inter-House Debate Competition. The event brought together enthusiastic participants from classes VII to X, showcasing the school’s commitment to nurturing critical thinking and public speaking skills among its students. Representatives from all four houses — Arctic, Indian, Pacific and Atlantic — locked horns on a range of thought-provoking topics, ranging from technology, social media influence to democracy. The young debaters impressed the audience and judges alike with their well-researched arguments, confident delivery and rebuttals. Principal George S Shear lauded the efforts of both participants and organisers, saying, “Events like these not only hone intellectual abilities but also build confidence and leadership qualities in our students. It was inspiring to see such young minds articulate their views so powerfully.” The event ended with a vote of thanks and a message encouraging all students to continue engaging with issues that matter, both within and beyond the classroom.
