The school held its annual investiture ceremony, formally inducted newly elected student leaders into the school’s leadership body. Principal George S Shear appreciated the honesty, confidence and clarity in thoughts which the office-bearers had exhibited during their selection process and wished that they work not just for the betterment and growth of their fellow student, but for their personal growth as well. He also advised the Student Council members to be humble and remain in gratitude because they are on the threshold of a new beginning and the values and ethos that they have imbibed from the school will guide them forever in their lives. The ceremony included inspiring speeches and an oath-taking ceremony where the newly appointed leaders pledged to uphold the school’s values and serve as role models for their peers. The newly appointed school Captain, House Captains and other council members were presented with their badges and sashes, signifying their roles as student leaders.
