St Xavier’s organises inter-school tournament

An inter-school tournament was organised by St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, for U-16 girls. Ten teams from the Tricity took part in the tournament. Matches were played on knockout basis. Final results: PM Shri KV, AFS, High Grounds, Chandigarh, beat St Xavier’s Sr Sec School, Sector-44, Chandigarh, by 36-20; St Xavier’s High School, Panchkula, beat Chitkara International, Chandigarh, by 36-06. Chief guest of the day was Dr Rakesh Malik, Director, Physical Education and Sports, Directorate of Sports, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Chandan S Patwal, Additional Principal, congratulated the winners and thanked the Sports Department for the grand success of annual sports event. Dr Ivorine Castellas, Principal, and chief Guest Dr Rakesh Malik gave away prizes to the winners.
