The school was awarded an appreciation trophy for the excellent performance of all students of the school in the SIP Arithmetic Genius All India Inter- School Contest 2023, conducted by SIP Academy India, Team Punjab. All students of classes I to V participated in the contest, in which 3,000 students participated at the city level and 15,000 at the state level. As many as 26 students from the school received gold medals for their stupendous efforts and excellent performance. Dr Ivorine Castellas congratulated all the winners and lauded the efforts of the Mathematics Department.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
