The junior sports meet was organised under the guidance of Dr Narotam Singh, Dr Gagandeep Kaur, president and vice-president, respectively, of the group of State Public Schools. The meet was inaugurated by Anmol Singh, Managing Director of the school, by lighting the lamp. Students of the school sang the shabad, ‘Rajan Ke Raja, Maharajan Ke Maharaja’. After this, ‘Saraswati Vandana’ was performed. The students of nursery to Class II presented various dances. Purvi, a student of Class XI, captivated the hearts of the guests by singing the folk song ‘Madhania’. After this, the orchestra was presented by the music department of the school. Yoga was performed by students of Class V. Students of the school captivated everyone with a cultural programme, including bhangra, naati and garhba. The students who scored good marks in the 2023-24 session were honoured by the Managing Director and Principal Dr Kanwar Neel Kamal. Later, children from nursery to Class II participated in sports competitions such as 50 and 100 m races, lemon race, back race, sack race, cone balancing, shirt button, one-legged race. The students of the school performed very well in these competitions. The winners were honoured with gold, silver and bronze medals. The school management committee, principal and vice-principal distributed prizes to the players who won medals in the competition. Principal Dr Kanwar Neel Kamal congratulated the winners and encouraged them to keep striving for excellence.
