The school celebrated Republic Day on its premises. The celebration began with the unfurling of Tricolour by chief guest Dr Narotam Singh. The choir of the school students sang the national anthem to pay tribute to the motherland, followed by a remarkable inter-house march-past. To trigger the emotions of pride, love and respect for the country among the students, a poem recitation competition was organised. Gurnimat Kaur and Sana brought the stage alive with their passion and love for the motherland through their speeches. Dance performances generated loyalty, patriotism and showcased our rich historical, traditional and cultural heritage. The celebration reverberated with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm with mime presentation by students saluting the patriots of the country. Students mesmerised the audience by singing patriotic song ‘Dil Diya Hai’ in their melodious voice. Khushleen Kaur and Manraj Singh from Class VIII enraptured the audience with their compering in mother tongue.
