AKSIPS-45 Smart School, Chd organised a special assembly on the theme “No Screen – Go Green”, conducted by the pre-primary teachers for the pre-primary students. The teachers presented a thoughtful and entertaining play to highlight the disadvantages of excessive mobile phone usage. The act depicted a child who was always using the phone – while eating, studying, and even during sleep. As a result, his eyes were badly affected. To show the seriousness of the issue, a doctor character was introduced who had to perform surgery on the child’s eyes. Through this engaging performance, the little ones were made aware in a fun way that too much screen time can harm their health, especially their eyes. The assembly ended with a positive message encouraging children to use screens wisely and embrace the motto “No Screen – Go Green.” Principal Pamila Kaur appreciated the efforts of the teachers and said, “Such activities not only create awareness among children but also help them develop healthy habits from an early age. It is important that our young learners understand the value of balanced living, away from excessive screens and closer to nature.”
