Students laugh, learn beyond classrooms

Blue Bird High School, Panchkula, dedicated to nurture all-rounder learners through academic excellence, character development and experiential learning arranged a field trip for the students of classes VI to VIII to Barota Farm. The trip combined fun, physical activity and valuable life lessons of cooperation and confidence-building. As part of the school commitment to holistic education, the excursion offered students a chance to learn beyond the classroom. Set in the beautiful natural surroundings of Barota Farm, the experience featured a range of exciting activities, including obstacle courses, zip-lining, wall climbing, nature trails etc, all designed to encourage teamwork, problem-solving and resilience. Teachers and staff accompanying the students commended the event for its balance of education and recreation. The trained guides of the farm ensured all safety protocols and allowed students to participate confidently to enjoy every activity. All the students described the day as the best trip ever, filled with laughter, learning and unforgettable memories. Principal Vandna Bhatnagar said that education should go beyond textbooks and Excursions help the students to connect theory with real-world applications while fostering curiosity, teamwork and respect for nature.
