Students participate in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

Sri Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Sector 35-B, Chandigarh, participated in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) 2025 organised by the Rotaract Club of Chandigarh University. The event was graced by chief guest Ravi Prakash (District Governor) and Kunwar Amritbir Singh, recipient of 44 awards, who inspired the young audience with his motivational address. The event featured diverse competitions, including poster presentation, poetry, dance, quiz, young trendsetters walk, nukkad natak, singing and declamation. In the quiz competition, Afreen (Class XII), Gurleen Kaur (Class X), and Akshita Patanjali (Class XII) secured the first position. In the Young Trendsetters Walk, Shagun (Class XI), Angel (Class XI), and Saumyl Sharma (Class XI) bagged second and third positions. Winners were honoured with medals and trophies, while all participants received certificates. The participation was guided by Teacher In-charge Ritu Kaushik. Principal Pritinder Kaur congratulated the students for their remarkable achievements and enthusiastic participation, appreciating the event as “a wonderful platform to nurture confidence, leadership, and creativity among students”.
