Class VIII students of Darshan Academy, Dasuya, have taken a wonderful step towards spreading environmental awareness. As part of their science chapter “Conservation of plants and animals”, they prepared a handmade red data book to create awareness about endangered species and to remind us that protecting biodiversity is essential for balance in nature. Students prepared a handmade red data book highlighting endangered plants and animals in India, such as the Asiatic lion, Bengal tiger, great Indian bustard, and medicinal plants. This creative activity made them understand the importance of conservation.
