In order to raise awareness against drug menace, teachers and students of DC Model Sr Sec School, Panchkula, took part in several activities. A special assembly was conducted, wherein the students were apprised of the ill-effects of drugs through a power point presentation and videos. The school’s managing director, Bharat B Gupta, shared some experiences with the students and motivated them to take a vow not to indulge in such activities. He encouraged them to be an active member of the campaign throughout their life. Later, the students made slogans and charts, persuading everyone to keep away from drugs. The primary wing of the school did not fail to contribute their participation in the campaign. Some posters were pasted on the school’s notice boards. A “nukkar natak” was performed by the students on the topic. The students also took a pledge to stay away from drugs.
