Shishu Niketan Public School, Chandigarh, commemorated Swachh Bharat Diwas as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 initiative, themed “Swachhotsav”. NSS student volunteers and teachers took the ‘Swachhta Shapath’ and undertook a cleanliness drive in adjacent areas, to clean public spaces like the government bus stops and market places. The students were lauded for their efforts as they emphasised to inculcate a sense of cleanliness in the society and they took a lifelong responsibility to inspire the community. They demonstrated their commitment through poster creation and awareness campaigns and cleanliness drive in the school and public spaces.
